Dr. Samba Buri Mboup

Dr. Samba Buri Mboup is a committed and well-travelled Pan-Afrikanist, who has served as Ambassador of Senegal to South Africa, between August 2001 and July 2006.

As a researcher-lecturer in Anthropology and linguistics, Dr. MBOUP also worked as an International Senior Expert and Consultant. In this capacity, he has conducted several missions for the UN General Secretariat and other UN agencies (UNDP, UNFPA, UNHCHR, UNICEF, UNESCO) in African countries such as Mozambique, Benin, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Mali, Cape Verde, Senegal, Central African Republic.
